The Poultry and meat industries producing large amounts of bacon and eggs, meat, chicken at relatively low prices could not survive without large-scale use of high protein animal foods like fishmeal . Fishmeal is also used in the preparation of certain antibiotics for the pharmaceutical industry.

Fish Meal
Fish meal and fish oil will be produced from sustainably managed stocks of fish with little or no value for human consumption or by recycling the trimmings from the fish processing and canning plant in this case.
The main type of fish being caught and processed for this product is jack mackerel, Sardine, Anchovy, Capelin, Herring, Sprat and Sand eel. Various other small fish that are received as ‘bycatch’ along with the main catch are also used as input.

Fish Oil
The process will be followed by a centrifugation of the pressed liquid to separate oil from suspended protein material and completed by evaporation of the material to be either solid or condensed solid or returned to the drying process.
Fish Meal Process
The process consists of the following steps:
- Unloading of fish.
- Grinding, Cooking.
- Pressing in continuous screw-type equipment.
- drying with direct or indirect heat, and milling and storage.
